Everything Better With Free Time

If there’s one thing I’ve been missing these days, it’s just time when I could do whatever I want without criticism or reminders of impending doom. Honestly, the stress has been making me even more of a slacker just because of pressure alone, instead of making me a more dedicated worker – which my part-time tutoring job, however brief, did.

Thus, some words from greater individuals than I:

“If people never did silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done.”

“When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everybody will respect you.”

“Tomorrow may be hell, but today was a good writing day, and on good writing days nothing else matters.”

“I feel most deeply that this whole question of Creation is too profound for human intellect. A dog might as well speculate on the mind of Newton! Let each man hope and believe what he can.”

“I have a new philosophy. I’m only going to dread one day at a time.”

“I’m kind of jealous of the life I’m supposedly leading.”

I have a whole .rtf list of quotes; good for the random thinking which makes writing easy.

(This has been a very random entry, so random that I wanted to make a new ‘Random’ category just to file it under.)

PS: Summer, season of laziness.

(For some reason, the fact that the ‘Summer’ tag has never been used since last August surprises me, even though, um, yeah.)

PPS: Since I changed it for Fiction Project too, new theme.

If you change to a theme, it will be loaded with the theme’s accompanying widgets. The kicker is, your old widgets are still displayed as “Used” when you try to change them; when they reappear after you fiddle around with it, it won’t be the cool designs that came with the theme but just plain text. Glitch? (Nope, apparently it’s just me.)
